During the quarterly financial conference call, CEO of EA Andrew Wilson discussed their relationship with Titanfall creators Respawn Entertainment.
Wilson explained that EA has a "great relationship" with Respawn Entertainment and that Titanfall 2 will sell for a really long time". It's one of the highest rated shooters of the generation and a lot of gamers are "playing the game and having a great time".
Wilson established that EA is "committed" to their relationship with Respawn Entertainment and the Titanfall franchise.
One of the biggest criticisms surrounding the poor sales of Titanfall 2 is the release window. Battlefield 1 released 1 week before Titanfall 2 causing many gamers to choose between the two.
Titanfall 2 went on to receive a lot of positive reviews and feedback from the community, citing the games incredible campaign and refined multiplayer experience. The addition of free post-game content and the absent of a season pass ensures that all future gamers who decide to purchase the game won't be segregated from the rest of the community.
Titanfall 2 is set to receive more free DLC, with Titanfall's Colony making a return this March.
Titanfall 2 now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out our master walkthrough here. Also check out 3 reasons why you should play Titanfall 2 over Battlefield 1 here.
