Control's first expansion The Foundation is set to launch next week for PS4 and PC, with the Xbox One version coming 3 months later. And today new information about the expansion was revealed. Including a new enemy type.
First off, players will need to complete the core campaign to access the DLC. With Jesse heading to the caverns of the Foundation to prevent the Astral Plane from consuming the Oldest House. While also locating Helen Marshall.
Jesse can access the Hotline Chamber in Central Executive after beating the main game. Jesse will gain access to a new option for the Service Weapon called Fracture, which can shatter the Foundation's environments. Jesse can also use Shield Rush, an upgrade to Shield that allows her to charge forward. This upgrade is available to everyone regardless if you own the DLC.
The Hiss Sharpened is the new enemy type. This enemy is strong and lethal, charging with their pixaxes.
Control is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The Foundation will launch PS4 and PC this March 26th and Xbox One on June 25th.
