Square Enix decided to provide some great news for fans of the Final Fantasy series ahead of TSG 2019. With a new trailer confirming the release date of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered.
The updated game that released on the GameCube will come to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices this January 23rd. Sorry Xbox One fans.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles originally released in 2003 for GameCube. The game was positively received but harshly criticized for how to access the multiplayer. It required the use of the Game Boy Advance system and a link cable to access cooperative modes. And for some reason didn't allow the use of simple controllers as an alternative, making the cooperative feature nearly inaccessible to many. Thankfully, that won't be an issue with the updated version.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Editio will feature cross-play. In addition to character voice-overs, challenge dungeons, skins, and new bosses.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will come to Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PS4 on January 23, 2020.
