Control is about 1 week away and today 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment released the launch trailer. Showing off a summary of the game's story and what Jesse will encounter inside the Oldest House.
The trailer is brilliant, featuring incredible set pieces and giant monsters that Jesse will encounter. On top of that, the unsettling atmosphere is exactly what fans love about Remedy Entertainment titles such as Max Payne and Alan Wake.
In addition, 505 Games is hosting a special stream for St. Jude Children's Hospital at PAX West. In an official press release 505 stated:
To celebrate the launch of Control, 505 Games will host a stream on Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT in an effort to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a hospital and research facility working to change the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Control stars Jesse Farden. Taking place in The Oldest House that's part of the Federal Bureau of Control Jesse is looking for her brother. Things go bad from the start as Jesse learns the organization run by the US Government is charged with the investigation of the supernatural. Shortly Jesse finds out the building has been taken over by a supernatural force known as the Hiss. Jesse is promoted to the Bureau's director and given the Service Weapon, charged with pushing back the Hiss and restoring order.
Control launches this August 27th for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
