Sci-fi 4X strategy title Pax Nova has launched on Steam Early Access, giving would-be interstellar conquerors a chance to hop on and try their hand prior to launch. Developed by Grey Wolf Entertainment and published by Iceberg Interactive, the title is set against the background of a dying Earth, which prompts humanity to take to the stars.
Pax Nova lets players choose between fifteen different factions, spread across three major races. Each of these factions comes with their own advantages and disadvantages. Not only will you be working on building and expanding their cities on the planets themselves, they'll also take to the stars in order to discover new places to settle. You won't be alone, however, as other factions are also looking to do the same.
Pax Nova aims to stay in Early Access between 3 and 6 months, during which time it will receive regular updates. According to its Steam page, the title is playable from start to finish, "and should be fun despite the rough edges, lack of balance, possible bugs and missing content.". Jumping in right now will set you back 21,99€ or your regional equivalent, a 10% discount being in effect until May 16th.
