Summer is known as the drought season, not only because of the heat but the lack of video game releases before the surge of fall and winter. However, Remedy Entertainment is seeking to avoid the clutter and release Control this summer.
Reported by Game Informer during their exclusive coverage, no specific date was provided but it's likely we'll get a release date this E3 2019.
For those unaware, Control is an action third-person title that has players controlling Jesse Faden. An agent of the Federal Bureau of Control that studies the supernatural and is stationed in the headquarters called The Old House. The building is invaded by an otherworldly called the Hiss and Jesse is thrust into the position of Director to stop the spread of the force while being hunted and haunted by the ghostly remains of her former comrades.
Control releases this summer for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
