The beta will only be available on Xbox One for now and come to other platforms later. Bethesda has confirmed that test periods will last between 4-8 hours throughout the week. The primary goal of this is to stress test the servers.
Fallout 76 is Bethesda's attempt at an open-world multiplayer Fallout experience. Set before all the previous Fallout games in 2021 players venture out into the nuclear wasteland as one of the first vaults to join the destroyed world. There will be no humans other than actual players who can either serve as allies or enemies but all residents of Vault 76.
Fallout 76 launches on November 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
