Anthem Executive Producer Answers a Ton of Community Questions

The executive producer of Anthem, Mark Darrah, has been quickly burning through community questions on Twitter about the game. Answering whatever questions he was able to and providing lots of small details about the game.

Here are some of the things players can expect from Anthem.

Your thrusters gain less heat while flying down but more while flying upwards.

You can't fly backward

Thrusters can cool down while in mid-air

A player can’t cause cutscenes to be skipped for everyone.

You can swap the helmet of your Javelin suit.

You can’t use a weapon found on a mission immediately and must head back to the Forge and equip it.

Missions will include non-combat interactions.

Players can swim.

There won’t be fully customizable designs for armor decoration at launch.

Expeditions can start both at Fort Taris and in the Strider.

Player characters will be voiced.

VO: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian Text: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean

AI players will not join solo players

Matchmaking available for everything

No playable sports, they exist in the universe

All this information has been positively received by fans and the community connection has been at an all-time high. 

Anthem is set for a February 22nd, 2019 release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
