Steel Wool Studios have announced that The Horus Heresy: Betrayal At Calth will soon arrive on Steam Early Access. Based on the Betrayal At Calth boardgame, the game has players taking control of Magos Ohmnal Sarc's unit of Ultramarines. They will face off against the Word Bearers in a single player campaign that contains 24 combat scenarios. In the time when players decide on their action, the world will continue to be active around them.
The Horus Heresy: Betrayal At Calth will be playable both in non-VR and VR, using the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. This makes it the first Warhammer 40000 game that comes to VR. Furthermore, cross-platform multiplayer is a planned addition. Have a look at the game's Steam page for more details.
