Blizzard-made legacy servers and a new expansion coming to World Of Warcraft.

The Blizzcon opening ceremony brought good news for fans of all things Azeroth. Executive Producer J. Allen Brack took to the stage to announce that Blizzard is working on World Of Warcraft Classic, the company's own version of the much requested legacy servers. He went on saying that the aim is to "replicate the game experience" but not the launch issues and that it's “gonna take some time but it will happen”.

The in-game pet Shadow will be getting a real life plushie version. Just like with its virtual counterpart, the sales revenue obtained until the end of the year will be donated to the same global disaster relief efforts.

The last announcement made during the opening ceremony was that of World Of Warcraft's next expansion, namely, Battle For Azeroth. The footage shown came with a heavy focus on the conflict between the two factions which might lead to a larger focus on PvP, something Legion, the current expansion, hasn't really dealt with all that great. Jaina Proudmoore makes a return while players will be visiting two different continents: Kul Tiras, of particular interest for the Alliance, and Zandalar, where the Horde have plans. The level cap will be raised to 120. Aside new dungeons and raids, players will be able to plunder uncharted isles and dominated warfronts, features which will, most likely, be detailed in the "What's Next" segment. Unlike past years, the expansion's intro cinematic was also shown. Have a look at the Battle For Azeroth intro cinematic.
