THQ Nordic have announced that the well received PS2 title Sphinx And The Cursed Mummy will be making its way over to PC, MAC and Linux early next month. Initially released on the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox back in 2003 (US) and 2004 (rest of the world), the mythology-infused 3rd person action-adventure title was well received. Players could switch between Sphinx and, his friend, The Mummy depending on whether combat or sneaking was necessary.

The PC version of Sphinx And The Cursed Mummy will benefit from a couple of improvements. Firstly, it will run at 60FPS alongside supporting arbitrary resolutions and widescreen (HD, 4K and beyond), native multi-sampling anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. The game will come with full keyboard and mouse support as well as plug-and-play, making switching between controller and keyboard possible at any time during gameplay. Lastly, there will be improvements on the graphical and audio sides which include modern sound system support (5.1, 6.1, 7.1), restored HD textures and no HUD stretching.

Sphinx And The Cursed Mummy will be available on PC, MAC and Linux starting November 10th for the price of $14.99 or your regional equivalent.
