Mass Effect: Andromeda's release was met with mixed reviews, and players were quick to let BioWare know how they felt about various aspects of the game. In tune with this, the title is receiving a patch on Thursday which will address a handful of issues. Inventory size is getting increased, matchmaking and latency in multiplayer are also getting improved and players can now skip ahead when travelling between planets. I complained about how frustrating going from one planet to another can get when writing our Mass Effect: Andromeda PC Review and it's definitely good to see it getting addressed.

Looking at the following two months, the character creator, general character appearance, cinematic scenes and animations are all set to get improvements. Scott Ryder's romance options are also getting looked at. More free cosmetic items will also be added to the single player. On the multiplayer front, new maps, weapons and character will come as well as new APEX Missions. One new mission, the first of three chapters that make up The Remnant Investigation, will already be available on Thursday. Have a look at the full patch notes for Thursday's 1.05 update.
