Final Fantasy VII Remake Main Story Voice Recording Almost Completed

Good news for those waiting for Final Fantasy VII: Remake, the voice recording for the main story is almost done

On top of Kingdom Hearts 3, the most demanded title from Square Enix is Final Fantasy VII Remake. Since the tech demo from E3 2005, a remake has been requested from fans for years. Now, according to producer Yoshinori Kitase, the main story voice acting is almost done.

Kitase stated:

“A remake of Final Fantasy VII required substantial preparedness,” Kitase told Dengeki PlayStation. “The voice actors have almost finished voice recording of the main story. Fans may have the image of the Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but since this is the ‘prime’ Cloud from before Advent Children, the performance may feel fresh.”

Now, this could mean that the first episode is completed and not the entire project. Final Fantasy VII Remake will release in episodes instead of an entire package. However, given the lack of information from Square Enix and troublesome development of a project this large any good news should be taken as a relief.
