Matt Thorson's Towerfall was one of the Ouya's most acclaimed game before jumping over to other platforms with Towerfall: Ascension, now it's coming to Xbox One.
In a report from Eurogamer Matt Thorson confirmed that Towerfall: Ascension will release on January 25th, 2017 for the Xbox One along with the game's Dark World expansion.
The original game, Towerfall, released on the Ouya in 2013 and was rereleased as Towerfall: Ascension for the PS4, PS Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux with new content.
The Dark World expansion adds a four-player cooperative campaign, new power-ups, levels, bosses, and much more.
Towerfall: Ascension is available now for PS4, PS Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux. The Xbox One version will release next week on January 25th, 2017.
