Mass Effect: Andromeda Introduces a New Race Called the Kett

A new galaxy in Mass Effect: Andromeda to explore means more alien races to see

Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place in an entirely new galaxy from the first game, so it's natural to assume that you'll encounter more alien races outside from the original trilogy. Hopefully, we'll see some Quarians though, some of us are still vexed about Tali's face.

Gameinformer confirmed when covering Mass Effect: Andromeda that the new race will be called the Kett. Other than the work shown by the art team no information regarding this race was given.

Mass Effect: Andromeda launches in Spring 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Our Take: Considering that this is a new race it can be argued that the Kett will look at humanity as invaders. After all in the humanity's first contact with aliens, specifically the Turians, ended in a short but bloody conflict. It's safe to assume humanity trying to colonize a new galaxy will entice some tension, especially for the indigious creatures living there.
