BioWare is on a role and releasing more information regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda, revealing that the main characters are brother and sister.
The Ryders, who will star in the next Mass Effect game, are siblings according to creative director Mac Walters. The first showing of the female Ryder was at E3 2016 and the male version was shown in the debut trailer shown yesterday at the NYC PlayStation event.
Players will still get to choose whether the playable character is male or female but the narrative will follow a brother and sister story. They will exist in the game's story at the same time but whether they will interact with one another wasn't revealed.
Walters also confirmed that the person in the N7 armor during the reveal trailer is actually their father.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and PC early 2017.
