Looks like more sources are confirming that Sony intends to release a more powerful PS4.
Over the past week multiple reports have revealed that Sony is working on an upgraded version for the PS4. The new system would be capable of outputting 4K video and games. And The Wall Street Journal has added to the growing fire.
Stating that the machine will run “higher-end gaming experiences” and that the Sony will continue manufacturing both systems, along with backwards and forward capability.
The source has stated that the console will be revealed in October, during the launch of the PlayStation VR.
