Despite all the popularity surrounding Windows 10 it was only a matter of time before something was discovered, perhaps this will make people second guess before updating to Microsoft's latest operating system.

Windows 10,Xbox,Noobfeed,Microsoft,

Windows 10 won’t support games utilizing DRM like Safedisc and some versions of Securom.

This information from Microsoft’s Boris Schneider-Johne explaining that older games that are on CD-Rom that have DRM won’t be playable on Windows 10 due to virus protection.

Games from 2003-08 with Securom that run without a no-CD patch would make users of Windows 10 vulnerable.

In addition Windows 10 allows Microsoft the ability to disable any pirated games or software detected while using their operating system. However penalty only applies to Microsoft developed games and software. With Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launching soon perhaps those seeking to steal a copy will think twice.
