A first-person horror adventure game from indie developer Dreampainters, Anna - Extended Edition is making its way to Xbox Live. Originally released for PC, Mac and Linux in April of 2013, publisher Kalypso Media has announced that the title will be available for the Xbox 360 on September 23.

Taking place in an abandoned sawmill, Anna delves into the darkest corners of the human psyche. Players are challenged to discover horrifying clues, using them to solve puzzles related to the main characters dark past. With three possible endings, players' actions reveal new secrets. Furthermore, these actions effect the character's mental health and locale.

Due to feedback from players of the original Anna, the extended edition was revamped with new features and includes an improved look. Further environments and puzzles are included in the newest edition, and extended and additional gameplay features were built in. Additionally, Anna - Extended Edition has added an improved interface and enhanced graphics. Furthermore, the developer has included a brand new in game character, 'The Wife Doll', "with own AI."

Kalypso Media is confident in the Xbox Live release of their horror adventure game saying, "Anna – Extended Edition is sure to please fans of psychological horror games such as Amnesia or Silent Hill and impress with the upgraded graphics and sound."

It may not have the best reviews out there, with a 61/100 user score on Metacritic, but I've had my eye on Anna since the release of the extended edition on Steam. Unfortunately, I don't have the best graphics card so playing Anna on my PC was, and sadly still is, out of the question. No fear though, a trusty console is always at hand, and Anna - Extended Edition will give me a good reason to dust of my Xbox 360.
