This news was announced by Lionsgate and elaborated on by Deadline, and there is still little information about Norman Reedus’s role in this movie. What we do know is that Ballerina is based on a scene from the third John Wick film in which a ballet company is owned by a crime syndicate, and this film will star Ana de Armas as the titular Ballerina, Rooney, as she seeks revenge for the murder of her family. As it is a John Wick film, expect the usual spectacular flair that we have come to expect from these films.

However, the role of Norman Reedus has not been revealed. Whether he has a large or small role is yet to be seen, but Ballerina does have a load of returning John Wick talent, like Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane, alongside the new talent like Norman Reedus and Ana de Armas.

This is only the latest John Wick spin-off to come along, as there is a fourth movie in the works as well as a spin-off TV series called The Continental, which focuses on the assassin hotel from the films. The John Wick universe continues to expand in every direction, and it isn’t likely to stop expanding anytime soon. So, expect more from John Wick in the future.
