Capcom has announced that the much-anticipated DLC pack, Winters' Expansion, will be released on October 28. Resident Evil Village, the most recent installment in the highly renowned series, was released in 2021 and has sold more than 6 million copies throughout the globe. Capcom has also revealed the three contents, the Third-Person Mode, The Mercenaries Additional Orders, and Shadows of Rose, included in the Winters' Expansion.
The Third-Person Mode is the first piece of content we will access to experience the primary narrative mode from a third-person viewpoint. Thanks to this fresh perspective, we will now be able to observe Ethan as he engages in combat with his adversaries. The Mercenaries' Additional Orders brings the arcade-style action shooting experience with additional stages and new playable characters, such as a fully prepared version of Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and Alcina Dimitrescu. And, Shadows of Rose takes place 16 years after the primary campaign while illustrating Rose's story of surviving.
16 years after the tragedies that transpired in Resident Evil Village, Rosemary Winters, Ethan's cherished daughter, who is now an adult fighting with scary abilities, is no longer a child. Rose travels inside the mind of the Megamycete, hoping to discover a means to break the spell placed on her. Her adventure leads her to mysterious places, where she finds that her memories from the past come back to haunt her in the form of distorted nightmares.
In addition, the bonus content included with Resident Evil Re: Verse will be made available to players on October 28, the same day the Winters' Expansion goes live.
