Today it has been discovered that retailer ShopTo has listed a new game, Prey VR. The game appears to be a purely VR version of Prey, which launched in 2017 and was developed by Arkane Studios.
Since the specific listing has now been taken down we don’t have any more information than what is shown in the image captured by Nibel, an avid video games news personality on Twitter. Check out the tweet.
As you can see, not only is this what appears to be a VR version of Prey, it’s a PlayStation VR game too, possibly an exclusive. However, given that Bethesda has released Fallout 4 VR, Skyrim VR, and DOOM VFR for multiple VR devices, it’s likely that this is simply the PSVR version.
With Sony’s official PlayStation 5 event taking place tomorrow, they might also spend some time discussing upcoming PlayStation 4 games. Both The Last Of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima are launching within the next two months, so new information on them would be very welcome.
Whether or not we see anything new about Prey VR is uncertain. However, Bethesda isn’t attending E3 this year, so they may be planning to make a game announcement themselves. Only time will tell just what this listing for Prey VR ends up being.
