During a multiplayer match the large circular meter on the bottom-right corner of the HUD indicates your Specialist’s unique ability. The meter fills up as you progress through a match, once full the ability can be activated. A full meter can begin to drain if not used quickly, so keep aware of it and use your Specialist’s power when ready. It’s possible to lose certain Specialist abilities if killed while activated, it’s ideal to equip special abilities for the most opportune moments.

Each Specialist has an offensive and defensive variant, allowing for players to choose offensive or defensive abilities.

Battery

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,Battery,

This female soldier is built like a tank, specializing in armor and explosive technology. Battery’s defensive ability is called Kinetic Armor. When triggered she’ll deflect enemy bullets and can temporarily increase her own health. However this doesn’t mean she’s immortal, Battery can still be damaged using non-bullet damage and headshots.

Battery’s offensive ability is called War Machine. With it Battery dawns a massive grenade launcher that lobs explosives projectiles onto the battlefield. These projectiles detonate after a few moments and will explode instantly upon enemy contact.

If your plan of attack is direct and load Battery is perfect for you. If you find your team overwhelmed using her Kinect Armor is perfect for surprising the enemy or as a last resort if you find yourself pinned down,

Nomad

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,Nomad,

Nomad generally focuses on keeping himself alive during combat. His defensive ability, called Rejack, when killed injects himself with a nanopaticle serum that allows him to resurrect when fallen. When activated Nomad starts to give off a smoke smoke, to alert nearby foes. Ideally using this ability in a clear location is best. During objective fights Rejack is perfect for jumping back to base when things become overwhelming.

Nomad’s offensive ability is called H.I.V.E., which involves setting up proximity traps that explode on contact. These traps are extremely dangerous and can prove invaluable in offensive and defensive tactics. Try using H.I.V.E. when leaving a key objective open to attack, unexpecting enemies will run right into your trap.

Outrider

Outrider is perfect for long-range combat. His offensive ability, Sparrow, provides him with a special bow capable of firing explosive arrows. Charging your bow will increase its range and stabilize the arc of the arrow. If you find yourself unable to reach an enemy player behind cover this is a perfect way to show them that they are not safe.

Vision Pulse emits a spherical radar around you, revealing players through nearby walls on your minimap. Enemy players using the Ghost perk can be seen and Spectre players using Active Camo are temporary revealed. Note that once triggered enemy players can see where the pulse originated, but only you.

Prophet

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,

No this isn’t the main character of Crysis 3, but he is a enhanced soldier who uses tech to gain an edge in battle. Tempest is his offensive ability, This charged shot weapon fires an electric beam of energy that shocks and chains to nearby enemies. Watch out for Battery though, if her ability is activated the attack does nothing to her.

Glitch allows Prophet to teleport to an earlier position on the map. Great when you’re at the brink of death. If used correctly players can use Glitch to teleport to various areas within an enemy stronghold and better fortify their position.

Ruin

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,Prophet,

Equipped with two bionic limbs Ruin’s special offensive ability called Gravity Spike emits a devastating shockwave when pounding the ground. Be alert that a slight delay exist before using the ability, as players can shoot you before the it’s triggered. It can also be activated while in the air for a lethal slam.

Overdrive grants Ruin a speed boost, allowing for quick mobility. While not the most exciting ability when used during objective based matches, such as Capture the Flag or Uplink, speed can mean the difference between losing and winning.

Seraph

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,

A hardened criminal and equipped with hand cannon she’s is not someone you want to mess with. Seraph uses the Annihilator when her meter is full. Quick and deadly this special weapon deals massive damage. One shot, one kill; regardless where you hit.

Combat Focus is perfect for those looking for easier scorestreaks. This is especially handy during objective based matches where more opportunities are available for maximizing points. As with most scorestreaks you’ll loose the bonus once killed.

Spectre

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,

As the name states Spectre is perfect for players looking to remain in the shadows. Ripper caused Spectre to dawn a lethal blade that increasing the range for melee attacks. Perfect for one-hit-kill slices, but make sure you’ve become attuned with Black Ops III’s mobility system before trying Spectre out.

Active Camo is his second ability. For four seconds you’ve invisible, not entirely though; a faint silhouette is still present. Similar to Glitch Active Camo can help in sticky situations.

Firebreak

Call of Duty,Black Ops III,Noobfeed,Treyarch,Activision,Noobfeed,

A pyromaniac, Firebreak uses the Purifier. This flamethrower is ideal for close quarters. Although the range is short this weapon can easily clear out a room full of soldiers if used properly. Try waiting close to an objecive and once enough players fill the room, light it up literary.

Heatwave is Firebreak’s defensive talent, immobilizing enemies and destroying equipment within the blast radius. Enemies become disoriented from blurred vision as a result of the blast. Coordinate with your teammates when you’re going to use Heatwave, leaving the enemy vulnerable to attack.
