Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn's final boss is none other than Ardyn's brother Somnus. Everything has been leading this moment, with Ardyn's revenge at hand here's how you take down Somnus.
Somnus is a bit easier than Regis given you have the city to use for cover. The primary attacks of Somnus is an AOE blast that he telegraphs by charging up, which turns his armor bright, and basic swings. When this happens simply dash to one of the buildings to avoid damage. Another attack of Somnus is summoning his own tornado, but use the same tactic and watch the floor of where the energy is going to come from.
Keep warping, using Spectral Charge and Dark Tornado for maximum damage. Occasionally Somnus will warp away but you can chase after him using the same tactic.
The one dangerous attack Somnus has is a giant blade of energy. He uses this attack once when he's at half HP. He'll charge the blade but all you have to do is dash to a building. Summon Ifrit whenever you can and Somnus will fall easily.
