Chanel is one of the hardest bosses in Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption. A combination of strength, speed, and a deadly debuff that turns you to turn you're going to need every advantage.
The fight starts off with Chanel using close range attacks, after 3 you can strike back with either a running strike or a regular hit. It's recommended that you use your short sword since it's quicker and Chanel will dodge all your other projectiles. Save your javelins and pots, you're going to need them.
Chanel does have a bow that she can use when you get too far. A charge short, which is hard to dodge since it shoots at random times, and a leaping shot that requires you to dodge. Wait till you hear the draw of the string then dodge.
The key here is not to get hit at all since Chanel can inflict an ice debuff that slows Adam and if full will freeze him into solid ice. If that happens you might as well accept death.
During the second phase, Chanel will charge up, extending her sword's reach and have another bow attack. She can launch arrows into the air that can only be avoided by running. She will attack at a slower rate than before but inflict much more damage. The same strategy applies, wait for an opening and attack.
When Chanel reaches low health she'll transform into a giant pink worm with teeth. This is a completely different fight and just as difficult.
This version of Chanel lacks range attacks but has powerful melee abilities. She can use an ice breath that can freeze Adam, attack with her large tongue, and body slams the floor. The key is the remain at her back and attack from there. But don't stay too long as Chanel will leap into the air to push Adam back or use her tongue at a whip in all directions. Avoid her face at all cost.
Since Chanel lacks any range attacks you can use your pots and javelins to do extra damage if needed. Keep the back, dodge after a few hits, and use your range attacks and Chanel will die.
