The Xbox One has been had a rough journey this generation. Mostly due to lack of exclusive titles but the system has mostly redeemed itself thanks to backward compatibility, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Play Anywhere. Microsoft has come a long way since the original Xbox and it wasn't luck, a lot of acclaimed titles helped bolster the system's reputation over the years. Here are the best Xbox exclusive games ever made.

Halo,NoobFeed,Microsoft,

Halo: Combat Evolved

Perhaps one of the most influential and significant franchises on the Xbox, Halo propelled the Xbox console to what it is today. As a launch title, the first game won over audiences thanks to its robust campaign and incredible science-fiction story. Multiplayer was icing on the cake that encouraged gamers to bring their Xbox consoles together for system-link multiplayer.

It wouldn't be a surprise that each following Halo game would go on to become one of the most demanded titles for each Xbox console. And while the franchise has fallen on hard times with its departure from the original formula for conventional mechanics the original games created by Bungie remain one of the best games on the Xbox consoles.

Gears of War franchise,NoobFeed,The Coalition,Epic,

Gears of War 3

When Gears of War launched it was an instant hit. The dark themes, brutal executions, and intensely competitive multiplayer provided months of entertainment. Each following title would enhance the experience by providing longer campaigns, cooperative multiplayer options, and building on the strong competitive scene. It would also go on to popularize the PvE survival mode with Horde Mode.

Gears of War 3 would bring the best of all the Gears of War games by providing a campaign that can be played alone or with 3 friends, a fully realized competitive multiplayer option with dedicated support, and a Horde mode that allowed players to control the Locust called Beast Mode. It was everything a good trilogy needed to end on.

Conker Live and Reloaded,NoobFeed,Rare,

Conker: Live & Reloaded

A remake of the original N64 Conker's Bad Fur Day the campaign offered some of the best graphics on the original Xbox. But what made Conker: Live & Reloaded such as hit was the amazing multiplayer.

Centered on the war between the SHC and Tediz the multiplayer serve as a campaign as well. With each mission having an opening cutscene and ending based on who won. The class-based system provided multiple ways to complete objectives such as fast sword-wielding Seekers, Thermophile's flamethrower, and more. Each one with unique skills and a progression system that rewarded players base on their performance and investment. It was a glitchy mess at times, with players exploiting invisible walls but it was one of the best online games on the original Xbox.

Panzer Dragoon Orta,SEGA,NoobFeed,

Panzer Dragoon Orta

The 4th installment in the franchise this rail shooter was not for the faint of heart. Panzer Dragoon Orta's challenging level design meant players had to fully utilize the 3 forms of their dragoon to survive. Exciting changes in the levels such as diving full speed, environmental hazards, and even an on-foot segment made each stage feel unique. Boss battles each had individual behavior patterns requiring the player to adapt to each fight and find the best strategy.

What added longevity to the game was the plentiful amount o unlockables such as side missions that complemented the original campaign, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, and a bonus campaign.

Forza Horizon 3,NoobFeed,Microsoft,

Forza Horizon 3

One of the best games on the Xbox One Forza Horizon 3 not only provides a hardy array of options for dedicated car enthusiast but the ability for novices to hop in and have fun as well. The open world of the Australia outback provided a massive array of races, optional objectives, and online options to take part in. Once you include the 2 expansions and Forza Horizon 3  was had enough quality content to keep racing fans busy for months.

Cuphead,NoobFeed,

Cuphead

If you were a fan of retro cartoons from the days of Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbara, and Tex Avery than Cuphead will cause those memories to flood back. The entire game screams charm with uniquely designed characters and environments that pop out of the screen. Coupled with intensely difficult boss battles and platforming challenges that will test even the most veteran gamer Cuphead will suck you in with its cartoonish art style but inside is a tough array of trials that won't show any mercy.

Spolsion Man,NoobFeed,

 'Splosion Man Series

'Splosion Man was a puzzle platformer that delivery a series of cleverly created levels and funny dialogue to complement the odd setting. As Splosion Man, you use your ability to literally explode through a series of levels that required precise timing and positioning.
