There's been tons of Lara Crofts over the years, the most famous probably being Angelina Jolie. Sure there's still a barrage of Lara's patrolling every video game trade show known to man but who's going to fill Jolie's outfit and take on the role of Lara on the big screen?
Word on the street is Kim Kardashian is in discussions to replace Jolie as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movie franchise. According to Showbizspy Kardashian is in discussions to become the new Lara and the reality TV star, who's already appeared in CSI: NY, is said to be taking acting lessons.
Showbizspy cites Hollywood sources that say Kim gets a lot of scripts but doesn't want to be seen as making the same mistake as a lot of other 'famous people' who can't act but appear in movies anyway.

Kardashian does look a fair bit like Lara Croft, which has also fueled the rumor. She also does have acting experience (sort of), because she played a part in “Disaster Movie,” which was not well received but does give her a little bit of experience in acting. If the part is offered to her, the bet is that she would take the part.

I really don't know if she's the right person. It can be a good or bad, it only depends on how she performs.
No attempt to burst your topic's bubble, but I think Kim is a skanky back alley L.A. slut. I nominate actress Amy Adams, petite and demure, yes, but without a giant cross tattoo on her stomach like Jolie, so the outfit could be truly 'filled out' differently.
Oh man not another movie.. I honestly don't care whoever is Lara Croft, the idea of another Tomb Raider movie alone is ridiculous in my opinion ;p
No, no, no! I bet many guys will see the movie because of her if she stars in it, but I doubt she can do the job properly.
Lol, I've heard this rumor before. She definitely won't be a good actor, but I don't think I care about Tomb Raider's plot in the first place. This movie has potential to be good for other, disclosed reasons.
I'll watch it, but I'm not sure how much I will like... or even be paying attention to... the actual acting. :P
Ok to be honest, I really like the looks of Kim Kardashian (still an understatement) so I won't mind in whatever movie she plays
But the new Lara Croft? I don't know...

@Horgen123 : Kardashian is no match for Joile. There were so many good actress and I don't understand why her? I know boys will love seeing Kardashian in sexy pants but come on! This ain't any ordinary movie. 100% of the Lara fans will be disappoints.
