MARVEL Realm of Champions was recently revealed by Kabam. A new mobile title coming 2020 where you join a specific faction in a secret war set in a Marvel universe. We had the chance to speak to some of the minds behind the title regarding the title.
First off, MARVEL Realm of Champions takes place outside the MCU in a different reality. Called the Battleworld players are asked to join a specific house led by an iconic Marvel hero. This includes the House of Iron (Iron Man), Spider-Guild (Spider-Man), Patriot Garrison (Captain America), Pyramid X (X-Men), Gamma Horde (Hulk), Kingdom of Wakanda (Black Pathner), and more. Players will explore the various lands and battles in both PvP and PvE combat to expand the control of their own house.
Unfortunately, no gameplay has been shown as of yet but I was able to get some information about what the final product will be like. The game will be a free-to-play title on mobile platforms but Kabam isn't ruling out other platforms. In addition, there will be in-game purchases, specifically loot boxes, in the game.
We were also told that the team will provide regular updates during the post-launch releases.
