Today, Sony held a presentation about the PlayStation 5. Highlighting the many features including entering the "Matrix" with its amazing sound quality. All without showing the system or any games running on PS5 hardware.
The presentation was about 1 hour long and the chat was full of "ZZZZ" comments. As system architect Mary Cerny provided details of how the PS5 will surpass the PS4. providing more developer-friendly tools and the best possible experience for the player. With shorter load times, a quieter system, and better sound quality.
Eurogamer provided a handy chart about the system.
Sony did confirm the system will be backward compatible with the top 100 games. With more added post-launch.
Perhaps we'll see the PS5 in the coming months. For now, we have what the system will run on and the promise of an experience that will make us feel like we're in the "Matrix".
