Many will remember that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 lost its single-player campaign for a battle royale mode. While the game has turned into a free-to-play title with its economy following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's release the title still had its battle royale mode. But not for long. With sources from VGC stating that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will get its battle royale mode this March.
According to VGC, the mode will be called Warzone will be free, featuring 200 players per match, squads, ping mechanic, and new twists such as Plunder, Killstreaks, and more.
This is, of course, all rumors. But a battle royale mode has been hinted at for some time. With players glitching into a map set for a battle royale.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
