As they gear up for the launch of AO Tennis 2 next month, publisher Bigben Interactive and developer Big Ant Studios have revealed that the upcoming tennis sim will feature "a completely accurate replication of the Melbourne Park sports complex" alongside its three main courts.
AO Tennis 2 also targets authenticity when it comes to the different players' uniforms but also their mannerisms. The title will also feature a new fabric system that contributes to the overall realism of matches by enhancing the quality of clothing.
While actual matches are as important as ever for a player's success, AO Tennis 2's career mode also tasks them with proving themselves in the conference room while managing their reputation in front of both the media and the public.
AO Tennis 2 is scheduled to launch on January 9, 2020, on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch. You can follow it on Steam and check out its latest developer diary.
