Xbox Wireless Controller Series 2 launches on November 4th and Microsoft just uploaded a new unboxing video for the controller.
The controller comes with an internal battery that has a 40-hour life for 1 charge and can be charged when in the case. In addition, the controller comes with additional thumbsticks, paddles, and a d-pad. Along with a 14-day redemption code for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
It was confirmed by Gamer Tage Radio host Parris that the Xbox One Elite Controller Series 2 will be compatible with Xbox Scarlett when it launches. And that goes for all Xbox One controllers according to James Shields, product/marketing manager for Xbox accessories.
Personally, I'm not sold. I purchased an Xbox Elite Controller Series 1 and within 1 week the right-stick started drifting. I was able to return it for a new controller at Best Buy only for the problem to return in the new model. With both thumbsticks now having the drift issue within days. I finally gave up and decided to return it for store credit.
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is to launch on November 4, 2019.
