Fortnite May Not Be Over, Chapter 2 Trailer Leaks

Fortnite Chapter 2 trailer leaked early

By Grayshadow, Posted 14 Oct 2019

Over the weekend Fortnite ended, with a black hole sucking up the entire map. The game is currently unplayable, with the only thing available being a secret Space Invaders minigame accessible through entering the famous Konami Code. However, despite the rumors that Tencent forced the removal of the game, which sounds unbelievable, a leaked trailer shows that a brand new chapter for Fortnite is starting soon.

Simply called Chapter 2, the trailer reveals no "Season 11" indication. Which adds weight to my guess that the game is going live, with a 1.0 update. With player gaining experience for killing enemies, finding loot, harvesting materials, or fishing. The trailer's validity has been amplified since its getting pulled from various social media channels.

It seems that Epic Games is giving players more ways to earn items. Adding minor rewards in combination with large rewards to keep players hooked. A tactic popularized by Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Fortnite is out now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. Which still only features a black hole.
