If you're a fan of building your own simulation business in than Auroch Digital has the game for you. With Megaquarium coming to PS4 this October 18th.
The title is now available for PC and Mac, launching back in 2018, and has players setting up their own aquarium. Deciding on staff, what type of fish to house, and how to please your customers.
A trailer was provided and shows what players can expect. With about 90% of the fish being species that actually exist.
This was something Megaquarium developer Tim Wicksteed experienced when he visited Plymouth aquarium, and he wanted to bring the joy it gave it gave him to his game. “We were inspired by their large marine animal tanks which are full of rays, sharks, and even a green turtle,” he says,
There are just under 100 colourful species of fish in the game, including the ones Tim just mentioned, as well as crustaceans, octopuses, seahorses, and jellyfish. What’s really cool is that they all look, move, and behave just like their real-life counterparts.
Megaquarium will launch on PS4 this October 18th. It’s currently available on PC and Mac.
