It has been confirmed that Goku won't be the only playable character in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Despite being a retelling of Goku's legendary tale during the events of Dragon Ball Z gamers will take control of other characters. With the latest trailer showing off the Cell Saga when Gohan saves the universe from the deadly android Cell.
The trailer shows off iconic moments from the saga including when Gohan's hidden potential was discovered by Goku. We also get footage of playing as Gohan, from his training with his dad piror to the Cell Tournament to him actually fight Cell. As a fan of Dragon Ball this trailer was an ideal trip down memory lane.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launches early 2020 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. I had the chance to play the game at E3 2019 and thought it not only recreated the anime faithfully but provided the high-speed combat that fans love from the series at your fingers. Which has been confirmed by series creator Akira Toriyama.
