Coming out of nowhere, Obsidian Entertainment confirmed their upcoming game The Outer Worlds will launch on the Nintendo Switch.
This version of the game will be handled by Virtuos will release later this year. Meaning, it won't launch the same day as the PS4, PC, and Xbox One version of the game.
While this is great that Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play the game don't be entirely optimistic. Usually, ports for the Nintendo Switch have to sacrifice resolution and frame rate to ensure a smooth performance. We'll have to wait and see if this version of The Outer Worlds will perform on par to the other versions.
The Outer Worlds will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25, 2019.
