Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will introduce plenty of new monsters to defeat, ranging from classic creatures from previous installments to brand new variants. In the latest teaser, Capcom showed off the Acidic Glavenus, a deadly monster teeming with acid-based attacks, powerful armor, and a tail that can break through the strongest armor.
Boasting more precise control of its tail and corrosive sulphuric acid debuffing abilities, the Acidic Glavenus will test all aspects of your hunting skills and readiness. #Iceborne pic.twitter.com/wZ1ISB2U55

The teaser is short and highlights the creature's attacks. Particularly the long tail that it can whip for powerful swings and even pour acid on it. Judging from the attack patterns, the best opportunity to attack is at the end of its attack. This is where the Glavenus is vulnerable and if you're feeling brave, cutting off the tail will leave the creature without its primary form of attack.
The Acidic Glavenus is one of the several subspecies of monsters being added to the game this September.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches for PS4 and Xbox One this September 6th and PC this winter.
