Apex Legends season 2 is set to begin this July 2nd. To highlight what fans can expect Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer featuring a different art style and Wattson in action.
Wattson is the electrical engineer joining the roster that can set up electrical barricades. The trailer does show her reviving Octance before things go to hell. With a tower collapsing and calling a massive amount of dinosaur-like creatures to flood the arena.
Those who watched the trailer also noticed a hint at a new Legend, which many speculate is Crypto, not the alien from Destroy All Humans!. Players on Reddit have spotted his laptop in game.
Apex Legends does need a boost. Since its launch this year the game went from being a massively popular title to losing much of its player base. Many argue this is because the game has not added anything substantial since its release, whereas the lead competitor Fortnite has had plenty of content since Apex Legends' launch in the way of cross-promotion with John Wick 3 and Avengers: Endgame.
Apex Legends is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Season 2 begins this July 2nd.
