Gearbox Software has been teasing an array of announcements for PAX East. Bu the most anticipated announcement is surrounding their IP Borderlands. Many anticipate that the company will finally reveal Borderlands 3 and have released a new teaser trailer called "Mask of Mayhem".

The trailer is an incredibly animated image of the Psycho from the Borderlands franchise complete with various characters from the series. We see Ellie, Claptrap, Sir Hammerlock, Maya, and so many characters.
While it's still early to confirm Borderlands 3 as the studio has been hinting at a remake of the original game as leaked by the ESRB. Some even speculate that it's a mobile title but hopefully, that's not true.
The Gearbox panel at PAX East will be streamed at 2 pm EDT on March 28th.
