THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS RUMORS ABOUT FUTURE DLC CHARACTERS FOR SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE THAT HASN'T BEEN CONFIRMED BY NINTENDO
Back on December 9th, a user on site 5Channel, reported by Gearnuke, claimed he/she has knowledge of the remaining fighters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While many didn't pay much attention to this the leaked information gained traction when it was revealed that the information regarding Persona 5's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was true.
As reported by Polygon, the leak of Dragon Quest’s Erdrick has gained even more credibility following a datamine leak that reveals 3 future characters with codenames Jack, Packu, and Brave. The user claims that the leaked fighters are Dragon Quest X’s Anlucia and Dragon Quest XI’s Hero skin will be available along with Ryu from Ninja Gaiden, Steve from Minecraft, and Doomguy from Doom.
Ok so since the secret's out, here's confirmation. Params in Ultimate confirm the code names of 2 future characters, "jack" and "brave".

Currently, Piranha Plant is set to release this February for those who register their game and no release date has been provided for Joker. It these rumored characters turn out to be true we most likely won’t hear anything till mid or late 2019.
