Microsoft has been rumored to have a new console in development for next generation with reports stating the projects are named "Anaconda" and "Lockhart".
The reports state that Microsoft is seeking to build a higher-end version of the Xbox One S and Xbox One X with the same model in mind. According to Windows Central, the pair of consoles is due for release during holiday 2020. The “Lockhart” SKU would have hardware comparable to that of the Xbox One X, with the higher-end “Anaconda” said to be the most powerful system made by Microsoft that can play Xbox games and Xbox 360 games.
Older reports have dubbed another new console in the works called "Scarlet" and it would be a cheaper version of the Xbox One without a disc drive for 2019 release. Neither systems have been confirmed by Microsoft but it's likely we'll hear more at E3 2019.
