Battlefield V Single Player Trailer Released, Provides a Look at the Protagonists

Take a look at Battlefield V's Single Player

Last month EA announced that they would be delaying Battlefield V, giving gamers some breathing room after the big releases coming out this month. Their main competitor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, released last week and has been generating buzz with its Blackout mode. Today, EA and DICE have released the first single-player trailer for Battlefield V  showing the characters players will take control of.

Taking the same approach as 2016’s Battlefield 1, Battlefield V's campaign will feature small stories from WW2. Titled War Stories the new trailer features short clips of the 5 stories players will have the chance to experience. The chapters are listed as Prologue, Nordlys, Tirailluer, Under No Flag, and The Last Tiger which launches as post-launch content.

Discover the untold stories of World War 2 with Battlefield V's single player War Stories. In Nordlys, resist German occupation in Norway, sabotage behind enemy lines as an unlikely English soldier in Under No Flag, fight for a home you've never seen in Tirailleur, and in The Last Tiger (available in December) join the crew of a Tiger I as they question why they fight. Battlefield V is out worldwide November 20.

Although Battlefield V still faces an uphill battle the likes and dislikes on the trailer indicate that fans are happy to see the game. Despite EA's questionable marketing campaign and the lack of information, many games enjoyed the beta provided. And considering this is the first major online shooter since Star Wars Battlefront 2 many are looking at EA closely after that title implemented predatory microtransactions that encouraged political action from governments.

As a show of good faith, Battlefield V will take a lesson from Titanfall 2 and provide all post-launch content for free.

Battlefield V launches on November 20th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
