Indie darling Amanita Design has unveiled their next project Creaks, an upcoming adventure game set to launch on PC and consoles sometime next year. Departing from the vivacious, colorful mood of their previous project, Chuchel, Creaks features lots of dark, brooding interiors. The title also has some of the studio’s signature strangeness that does hint somewhat at previous titles like Machinarium or Samorost.
Amanita Design has made its name known to the indie crowd, and not only, through its point-and-click adventure titles. Judging by its teaser trailer, Creaks will put more emphasis on its platforming elements. Jon Acheson is the composer behind the game's soundtrack. Creaks will be out in 2019 on PC and consoles.
