Ubisoft is taking a new direction for post-launch content for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Instead of releasing entire campaigns in one package the DLC will come in 3 part episodes.
The season pass will include 2 campaigns with 3 episodes each. Legacy of the First Blade will provide insight into why the Assassin Order fights from the shadows and the first introduction of the iconic hidden blade weapon. The first episode will release this December 2018 with new episodes coming every 6 weeks.
The second campaign is called The Fate of Atlantis players will encounter legendary creatures and uncover secrets of the ancient city. Also its connection to Greece and First Civilization. It'll start releasing Spring 2018.
All gamers who pre-order the season pass will get Assassin's Creed 3 HD for free. Speaking of free everyone will gain access to free quests starting with The Lost Tale of Greece that will reintroduce old characters with new missions. In-game events that include ships and mercenaries will invade Assassin's Creed Odyssey, if defeated, will earn the player unique currency and items.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 5th.
