Those looking to dive into Hitman 2 but haven't played the first season of Hitman won't miss out. Today, IO Interactive confirmed that the first season will return with updated features.
Called World of Assassination, all 6 locations from the first season will be added to the sequel with updated AI, combat, items, and graphics found in Hitman 2. This means that everything that is updated with the sequel the original game will also get, providing the player will new challenges to overcome.
Those who own the first season will get all the content for free while everyone else will have to download the Legacy Pack to gain access when Hitman 2 launches this November 13th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
This is an excellent idea as it'll add another reason to return to the original season. Given that IO Interactive has been updated Hitman constantly with new content it's clear that the developers are passionate about this franchise.
