One of the best games of 2017 was Little Nightmares. The 3D horror title created an unnerving atmosphere as players traveled through the Maw. Now Taser Studios have confirmed that game has reached 1 million units sold.

“We’re very proud that our first original game sold so well, it’s well beyond what we ever expected,” said Tarsider Studios CEO Andreas Johnsson in a press release. “Little Nightmares is after all part of an indie game landscape, and the fact that one million players have played our game is wonderful. This achievement is a milestone for both Tarsier Studios and Little Nightmares. To have created an original game that becomes as successful is proof that the new direction for the studio was the right choice, and that feels great.”
Little Nightmares recently released its final DLC expansion that brings the branching stories to a closed and came to the Nintendo Switch this year.
Little Nightmares is now available for PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
