The news about Doom Eternal keeps coming up with new information surfacing about the game's campaign. During a Q&A session id Software's Marty Stratton spoke about the game's post-launch period.
“Right now we don’t plan on bringing SnapMap back into DOOM Eternal,” Stratton said. He continued by saying, “We’re really focusing those resources on doing some of the things that players wanted more from us post-launch.”
One of the biggest criticism's surrounding the post-launch period of 2016's Doom was its lack of single-player content and focus on community content instead. Stratton added that the studio has heard the fans and plans to dedicate resources to what fans want.
Doom Eternal is now in development for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
