Looks like this year E3 2018 will have even less shocking moments as the next Hitman game has already been leaked.
On ResetEra a forum post from a member named Luna detailed a new logo for Hitman 2 hidden in the source code for Warner Bros. Games' site. Both Hitman's official account and WB Games teased a new announcement was coming and it's likely it'll be Hitman 2.
For those unaware in 2017 IO Interactive went independent after their partnership with Square Enix ended. Square Enix wanted to refocus resources to key franchises and sold off the Hitman IP to IO Interactive who secured a new deal with WB Games in April 2018. Since then many were hoping a new game would be announced soon and looks like it's about to happen.
No confirmation was provided as of yet but considering the episodic tale ended in 2016
