The last 2 weeks have been a tsunami of joy for gamers, movie lovers, and comic collectors. Sony and Santa Monica released God of War and Marvel released The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1. Those who saw the film noticed a connection between the 2 and it seems that Santa Monica hid an easter egg within their game as well.
On the God of War subreddit user moxxxxxi details that the Easter egg itself is tied to an epic Talisman called “the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages,” which, when upgraded all the way, can be equipped with a special set of Enchantments that happens to mirror a the infinity stones.

While the enhancements don't empower Kratos with same powers as Thanos it's a neat tribute to the Marvel franchise. Given that Thor dawns a weapon similar to Kratos and their shared connection to Norse mythology this is another example of creators giving shout-outs to one another.
