Nier: Automata is one of the best games released in 2017 and although many have spent days searching the game's open world for secrets it would seem that one has evaded the gaming community.
In an interview with Famitsu developers of Nier: Automata Saito, Yoko Taro, director Takahisa Taura, and more shared stories about the game’s development for its first anniversary. Translated by Siliconera, the developers stated that the gaming community hasn't found one secret in the game and won't say what.
The developers were pressed for information but didn't go into details. It would seem they want players to locate it for themselves and considering the game's wide array of secrets, endings, and lore it won't be easy to uncover.
Upon its release, Nier: Automata garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews and feedback from fans. Citing the game's story, soundtrack, combat, and character development but most importantly the use of the video game medium to tell a story that tackles philosophical questions such as existence, purpose, life, death, and memories. By the end of 2017, it sold over 2 million copies.
Nier: Automata is now available for PS4.
